Enrolment at Rosebank School is governed by an Enrolment Scheme with a defined home zone. All children who live within the home zone (as shown on the map below) shall be entitled to enrol at Rosebank School. Each year the board will determine the number of places that are likely to be available in the following year for the enrolment of children who live outside the home zone. Further details are available from the school office.
School Visits
We invite all prospective parents and students to view our school in action. Please ring the school office on 03 418 1090 to make an appointment to visit our school. The Principal is available to answer any questions you might have.
Rosebuds
To ensure a smooth transition into school life, all new entrants are invited to join "Rosebuds" prior to their official start date. This program helps children build confidence and get to know their future classmates in a friendly, supportive setting.
Programme Details:
When: Every Friday, 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM in Room 2.
Activities: A mix of "school-readiness" tasks, a supervised play break, and snack time.
How to Join: We can discuss these transition visits and arrange a start date when you come in for your school tour.
Enrolment forms may be collected and filled out at home prior to your child starting school. These should be brought with you, together with a copy of your child’s Birth Certificate and Immunisation Certificate.
Please bring your child to the school office on their first day. For the first few weeks parents of new entrant children often find that they are happier to be brought to the classroom and collected from the classroom at the end of the day until they are confident enough to walk into school themselves.
